A Call to Serve
Greetings in Jesus' Name!
God is so great and greatly to be praised. We are thankful to the Lord for His abundant blessings on our lives.
This week Jonathan (the youngest Hancock) left Tulsa for Fort Knox. He joined the guards. When asked about concerns for the war, he said if he goes to Iraq and gets killed, at least it would be for his country. Where would this country be if no one answered the call to serve?
Another question comes to mind, "Where will the sinner be without ministers that will answer the call to serve?" We currently have 2 churches in our district that need a pastor and many cities in Oklahoma that need churches...someone needs to answer the call to serve.
We are living in the last days and more than ever our thoughts should be focused on the Lord and doing His will, there is much to do!
God bless! |
